I won an award for an art project which was the birthchild of the Troll storyline.
Trolls world grew out of myth and legend. slowly the darkness grew and over the years that have gone since hundreds of heroes formed to stand against the darker things in the world.
Third Earth grew from Trolls story...

THIRD EARTH.
back before time began there was a world much different to the one you know now. this was First Earth.
First Earth was ruled my magic. this place is the origin of almost every myth and legend story you know and many more you dont. eventually the battle between good and evil destroyed First Earth.
Second Earth formed out of the ashes of First earth. this empire was ruled by science, though to our standards it might as well have been magic.Needless to point out but Second Earth forged a course of destruction that lead to the creation of Third Earth.
The direction of Third Earth is not clear, though both magic and science strive for control many other factors challenge old ways of life. One of those factors being mankind itself.
